Technical Sales Engineer
Norcott EMS is a leading provider of electronic
design and assembly services. We work with our customers at

prototyping and certification through to volume manufacture,

that this is clearly communicated to prospective and existing
customers through a detailed analysis of their requirements
followed up by clear and concise proposals and quotations.
The technical nature of this role would
suit a practically minded electronics engineer who is looking
to move into a technical sales role and flourishes in a challenging
environment with high levels of customer contact at both technical
and commercial levels.
Specific Duties
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, this
role involves:
- Review and development of technical requirements.
- Evaluation of customer data along with our production
engineering team to identify optimum manufacturing process.
- Acquisition and collation of key component pricing and
delivery.
- Production of detailed quotations and supporting proposal
documents.
Essential Experience, Capabilities
& Qualifications
Excellent communications skills both
internally and customer facing.
Drive and commitment to delivering effective customer centric
solutions.
A keen eye for detail and an aptitude for delivering 'right
first time' results.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight time-scales.
Competent with all 'Office' applications including spreadsheets,
email and CRM systems.
The successful applicant will have
HNC (or equivalent) in electronics or related discipline.
Desirable Experience
A previous role in either electronic
design or manufacture.
