Technical Sales Engineer

Norcott EMS is a leading provider of electronic design and assembly services. The technical nature of this role would suit a practically minded electronics engineer who is looking to move into a technical sales role and flourishes in a challenging environment with high levels of customer contact at both technical and commercial levels.

Specific Duties

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, this role involves:

  • Review and development of technical requirements.
  • Evaluation of customer data along with our production engineering team to identify optimum manufacturing process.
  • Acquisition and collation of key component pricing and delivery.
  • Production of detailed quotations and supporting proposal documents.

Essential Experience, Capabilities & Qualifications

Excellent communications skills both internally and customer facing.
Drive and commitment to delivering effective customer centric solutions.
A keen eye for detail and an aptitude for delivering 'right first time' results.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight time-scales.
Competent with all 'Office' applications including spreadsheets, email and CRM systems.

The successful applicant will have HNC (or equivalent) in electronics or related discipline.

Desirable Experience

A previous role in either electronic design or manufacture.
