Pete Lomas Managing Director

Pete received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science (Engineering) from the Victoria University of Manchester, UK. He is a co-founder and Director of Engineering at Norcott, responsible for product and systems engineering development.

Prior to founding Norcott, Pete was the Director of Engineering of Mosaic Technology Limited, an electronic design consultancy based in Manchester. Over a ten year period Mosaic grew to become a multi-million pound company, prior to its sale in 1997.

Pete has also been a lecturer in Computer Engineering and CADCAM systems, a Freelance Engineering Consultant and Development Manager for Kemitron Industrial and Scientific Computers.

Over a career spanning 30 years he has been responsible for the development of over 100 electronic products containing some 280 PCB designs, in applications areas as diverse as video security, hydrographic research, fire detection, data communications, engine test and building management.

Russell Magee Sales Director

Russ is responsible for all the day to day business activities, and plays a pivotal role in customer development.

He has extensive experience in senior management, in particular business development. He was instrumental in the creation of the PCB and Manufacturing (CEM) divisions of Kemitron plc growing these to a combined turnover of £14M before their sale in 1997.

Prior to joining Norcott he was Operations Manager with Invotec Blackburn, a division of the UK’s largest PCB manufacturing group with a turnover in excess of £30M.

Helen Adkins Financial Director

Helen is responsible for all aspects of Norcott’s infrastructure and asset base including finance, legal, administration and human resources.

Acquiring qualifications in Business Studies, Management and Accountancy she became a founding staff member of Norcott.

Over the years Helen has rapidly expanded her role and contribution to the company’s development occupying the position of Administrative Manager until her promotion to the Board of Directors in March 2000.
